There is neither gender nor division in Truth, therefore the conventional idea of a male Jesus being the only offspring of God is incorrect.
Within A Course in Miracles, "The Son of God" refers to both Jesus, and to the collective extension of God which includes all of us.
It
should especially be noted that God
has only one Son.
If all His creations are His Sons, every one must be an integral part
of the whole Sonship. The Sonship in its Oneness transcends
the sum of its parts. T-2.VII.6,1-3.
The
power of the Sons of God is present all the time, because they
were created as creators. Their
influence on each other is without limit, and must be used for their
joint salvation. T-6.I.18:1-3.
The betrayal of the Son
of God lies only in illusions, and all his "sins" are but
his own imagining. His reality is
forever sinless. He need not be forgiven but awakened. In his
dreams he has betrayed himself, his brothers and his God. Yet what
is done in dreams has not been really done. It is impossible
to convince the dreamer that this is so, for dreams are what they are
because of their illusion of reality. Only in waking is the
full release from them, for only then does it become perfectly
apparent that they had no effect upon reality at all, and did not
change it. T-17.I.1:1-7.
As
you read the teachings of the Apostles, remember that I [
Jesus ] told them myself that there was much they would
understand later, because they were not wholly ready to follow me at
the time. ... No
one is punished for sins, and the Sons of God are not sinners.
Any concept of punishment involves the projection of blame, and
reinforces the idea that blame is justified. ... The
crucifixion was the result of clearly opposed thought systems; the
perfect symbol of the "conflict" between the ego and the
Son of God. This conflict seems just as real now, and its
lessons must be learned now as well as then. T-6.I.16:1,4,5,7,8.
A Course in Miracles sees forgiveness as the act of looking beyond illusions to the truth of our inherent innocence as a child of God.
The
major difficulty that you find in genuine forgiveness on your part
is that you still believe you must
forgive the truth, and not illusions. You conceive of pardon
as a vain attempt to look past what is there; to overlook the truth,
in an unfounded effort to deceive yourself by making an illusion
true. ... .Because
you think your sins are real, you look on pardon as deception. For
it is impossible to think of sin as true and not believe forgiveness
is a lie. W-134.4:1-3.5:1.
Miracle-minded
forgiveness is only correction.
It has no element of judgment at all. The statement "Father
forgive them for they know not what they do" in no way evaluates
what they do. It is an appeal to God to heal their minds.
There is no reference to the outcome of the error. That does not
matter. T-2.V.A.16(6).
Nothing
in boundless love could need forgiveness. And what is charity
within the world gives way to simple justice past the gate that opens
into Heaven. No one forgives unless he has believed in sin, and still
believes that he has much to be forgiven. Forgiveness
thus becomes the means by which he learns he has done nothing to
forgive. Forgiveness always rests upon the one who offers it,
until he sees himself as needing it no more. T-26.IV.1:3-7.
...there
must be condemnation before forgiveness is necessary. ... although God does
not forgive, His Love is nevertheless the basis of forgiveness. Fear
condemns and love forgives. Forgiveness thus undoes what fear has
produced, returning the mind to the awareness of God. For this
reason, forgiveness can truly be called salvation. It is the means by
which illusions disappear. W-46.1:2/2:1-5.
It is only our failure to recognize it that makes Truth seem hidden.
Your
recognition that whatever seems to separate you from God is only
fear, regardless of the form it takes and quite apart from how the
ego wants you to experience it, is therefore the basic ego threat. T-11.V.10:1.
Holiness can never be really hidden in darkness, but you can deceive yourself about it. This deception makes you fearful because you realize in your heart it is a deception, and you exert enormous efforts to establish its reality. T-1.IV.2:1,2.
What
does ... recognition "cost"? It costs the whole world you
see, for the world will never
again appear to rule the mind. For with this recognition is
responsibility placed where it belongs; not with the world, but on
him who looks on the world and sees it as it is not. He looks on what
he chooses to see. No more and no less. M-5.2.3:3-8.
...God,... [is] immediately recognized as eternal. Since this recognition is made by you and not the ego, the recognition itself establishes that you and your ego cannot be identical. T-4.VI.3:4-6.
Sin is the world made real. The ego's triumph over God. Mistakes made uncorrectable.
... the
ego made its world on sin. Only in such a world could everything be
upside down. ... For sin has changed creation from an idea of God to
an ideal the ego wants; a world it rules, made up of bodies, mindless
and capable of complete corruption and decay. If this is a mistake,
it can be undone easily by truth. Any
mistake can be corrected, if truth be left to judge it.
... As a mistake, it must
be brought to truth. ... a mistake can be corrected.
There
is no stone in all the ego's embattled citadel that is more heavily
defended than the idea that sin is real; ... . T-19.II./6:7:1,2,5-7,11,13.
The

Sin
is an idea of evil that cannot be corrected, and yet will be forever
desirable. T-19.III.1:6.
When
you are tempted to believe that sin is real, remember this: If sin is
real, both God and you are not. ... If sin is real, God must be at
war with Himself. He must be split, and torn between good and evil;
partly sane and partially insane. For He must have created what wills
to destroy Him, and has the power to do so. ... While
you believe that your reality or your brother's is bounded by a body,
you will believe in sin. T-19.III.6:1,3-5/7:1.
The world we see is a picture of our inner confusion and makes no sense. It is clearly understood that a loving God could not have made this, which is exactly what the insanity of it is meant to prove.

Since the thoughts of which I am aware do not mean anything, the world that pictures them can have no meaning. What is producing this world is insane, and so is what it produces. Reality is not insane, and I have real thoughts as well as insane ones. I can therefore see a real world, if I look to my real thoughts as my guide for seeing.
You cannot evaluate an insane belief system from within it. Its range precludes this. You can only go beyond it, look back from a point where sanity exists and see the contrast. Only by this contrast can insanity be judged as insane. T-9.VII.6:1-4.
When a brother acts insanely, he is offering you an opportunity to bless him. His need is yours. You need the blessing you can offer him. There is no way for you to have it except by giving it. This is the law of God, and it has no exceptions. What you deny you lack, not because it is lacking, but because you have denied it in another and are therefore not aware of it in yourself. Every response you make is determined by what you think you are, and what you want to be is what you think you are. What you want to be, then, must determine every response you make. T-7.VII.2:1-8.
The term brother refers to everyone, for in Truth there is only one. Jesus is your brother, as is aunt Clara and baby Mary.
It is through your true perception of your brother that you learn of God.
Your gratitude to your brother is the only gift I want. I [Jesus] will bring it to God for you, knowing that to know your brother is to know God. If you are grateful to your brother, you are grateful to God for what He created. Through your gratitude you come to know your brother, and one moment of real recognition makes everyone your brother because each of them is of your Father. T-4.VI.7:2-5.
Every brother you meet becomes a witness for Christ or for the ego, depending on what you perceive in him. Everyone convinces you of what you want to perceive, and of the reality of the kingdom you have chosen for your vigilance. Everything you perceive is a witness to the thought system you want to be true. Every brother has the power to release you, if you choose to be free. You cannot accept false witness of him unless you have evoked false witnesses against him. If he speaks not of Christ to you, you spoke not of Christ to him. You hear but your own voice, and if Christ speaks through you, you will hear Him. T-11.V.18.
... you must see your brother as yourself. Framed in his body you will see your sinfulness, wherein you stand condemned. Set in his holiness, the Christ in him proclaims Himself as you. T-25.I.2:7-9.
Jesus was one who remembered who he was and remembered his relationship with his Creator and thus became part of the Plan of Atonement to help awaken his brothers.
Under Clarification of Terms – Jesus-Christ:
There is no need for help to enter Heaven for you have never left. But there is need for help beyond yourself as you are circumscribed by false beliefs of your Identity, which God alone established in reality. ... The name of Jesus is the name of one who was a man but saw the face of Christ in all his brothers and remembered God. So he became identified with Christ, a man no longer, but at one with God. The man was an illusion, for he seemed to be a separate being, walking by himself, within a body that appeared to hold his self from Self, as all illusions do. Yet who can save unless he sees illusions and then identifies them as what they are? Jesus remains a Savior because he saw the false without accepting it as true. And Christ needed his form that He might appear to men and save them from their own illusions. In his complete identification with the Christ–the perfect Son of God, His one creation and His happiness, forever like Himself and One with Him–Jesus became what all of you must be. He led the way for you to follow him. He leads you back to God because he saw the road before him, and he followed it. He made a clear distinction, still obscure to you, between the false and true. He offered you a final demonstration that it is impossible to kill God's Son; nor can his life in any way be changed by sin and evil, malice, fear or death. And therefore all your sins have been forgiven because they carried no effects at all. And so they were but dreams. C-5.1:1-5.2.3.4:1,2.
